BIO:

Anna Guðrún is a dancer, performer and creator based in Reykjavík, Iceland. Working as a freelance artist/dancer has giving her multidisciplinary projects that span the fields of physical theatre, dance, music production and fine arts.

She have been dancing and performing since a very young age, starting in classical ballet and then finding herself in the contemporary dance going straight to IUA (Iceland University of Arts) and graduating there from the contemporary dance department 2021. She then became freelance dancer and has been performing both in Iceland and travelling beyond to perform in various countries such as Denmark, France, Belgium and Norway.

Though she is mostly a dancer she is also a singer in the feminist punk band The Boob Sweat Gang, were they sing, dance and scream about the things that bugs them about the society.

Her creation has given her the platform to perform at Reykjavik Dance Festival and now in Ásmundarsalur with the piece VENUS with co-creator Bjartey Elín Hauksdóttir.
