BIO:

Erla Rut graduated with a bachelor's degree in contemporary dance from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2016. After completing her studies, she dove into Fighting Monkey Practice and since 2018 been an Inspire by FM instructor.

She has worked as a dancer, teacher and freelance artist as a performer, choreographer and project manager. Some recents works are a solo performance at Dansdagar, The Practice Performed by Steinunn Ketilsdóttir, Óður til Dansgólfs, video installation shown at the Winter Festival in Reykjavík, Figures in Landscape by Ragnar Kjartansson. Erla Rut, one of the three founders of the independent dance group Notalegur Félagsskapur.
