BIO:

Eydís Rose Vilmundardóttir(she/her) is a dance artist based in Reykjavík. She holds a BA in Contemporary Dance Practices from Iceland University of the Arts, a diploma in physical theatre from JV2, under the direction of Jasmin Vardimon Company(UK) and is currently finishing a pilates teacher training through Kane School, NY.

Eydís works as performer, creator, and teacher. She has been part of many projects and performances, working with choreographers such as Erna Ómarsdóttir, Halla Ólafsdóttir, Hooman Sharifi, Athanasia Kanellopoulou and Sarah Aviaja, among others.

Recently Eydís has danced with Aviaja Dance Company in WHITEOUT, which received the danish Reumert awards for performance of the year 2025, and with Synne Lundesgaard(NO) for the creation of Tender Unit. She has also been working with Iceland Dance Company since 2023 and is currently in the piece Flood Debris, a collaboration between choreographer Aðalheiður Halldórsdóttir and musician Jónsi(Sigurrós).
