BIO:

Inga María graduated with a BA degree in contemporary dance and choreography from the Icelandic University of the Arts in spring 2022, with an exchange semester at KHiO. That same year Inga did an internship with GöteborgsOperan Danskompani. Since then she has been working as a freelance dancer and a performer in many different projects, both on stage and for screen/TV as well as choreographing in collaboration with others. She has experience working with text and voice, she recently performed in “Til hamingju með að vera mannleg” by Sigríður Soffía Níelsdóttir at the National Theater in Iceland where Inga was acting and performing monologues together with dancing.

Inga would describe herself as an extremely driven and passionate performer who is super physical, determined and athletic but also very playful and comic or perky. She loves a good challenge and is open to different projects.
