Þórunn Guðmundsdóttir (she/they) is an Icelandic dancer and performing artist based in Copenhagen.

Recently she has engaged in stage-based works with choreographers such as Alma Söderberg, Joana Öhlschläger, Doris Uhlich and Alvilda Strim. Þórunn’s work focuses on the physical and vocal body, exploring their intersection through movement, voice, and visual storytelling. Her artistic practice emphasizes strong visual composition, intimacy with the audience, and the interplay between nature and constructed environments. Her upcoming solo work, and choreographic debut, Gazed reflects these ongoing interests, combining physical performance and voice to question perception, empathy, and identity.
